Hi, I’m Mel, owner and operator of locally owned pet minding business, Cuddles & More.
I began pet minding over 10 years ago to further my passion caring for people’s most beloved pets and making sure both the pets and the owners were stress-free whilst they were apart.
Leaving your best mate is never an easy decision and spending your time away from them worrying about their well-being is difficult. At Cuddles & More, we work hard to take away the stress of leaving your pet while you’re away from home. One of the ways we do this is with the pet minding app ‘Time To Pet’. This application allows us to give you regular updates on what your perfect pet has been up to whilst they’re in our care.
Although Cuddles & More is a business, we regularly volunteer with POOPSWA (Pets Of Older Persons WA) to help support the elderly and disabled with the care of their dearly loved pets.

Knowing your pet is going to be well looked after whilst you are away is a huge factor when choosing a pet minding service. With Cuddles & More pet minding services, we understand being kept up-to-date on how your fur children are travelling takes a massive weight off your shoulders.
This is why we use the ‘Time To Pet’ pet tracking and reporting app. It allows you to set up an account for yourself and your fur kid, so whilst we are minding your beloved friend you can stay in the loop with live updates on our walkies, playtime, and more.
After you decide to put your trust in us to take expert care of your beloved fur babies, we follow a prompt process to get you and your special pet set up for us to look after them whilst you are away. The process involves:
Initial contact with Cuddles & More
Establish your details and service requirements
Set up a time for the initial consult and to show you our credentials
Welcome email to activate the 'Time to Pet' app and set up your customer portal
Arrange a time to meet you and set up a care plan for your fur baby
Configure your 'Time to Pet' app (with our help)
Finalise details, confirm service, and invoice (payable via cash, EFT, or credit card (stripe)
Arrange a convenient time to pick up your key, if needed
We ask that you provide enough food for your pet/s for the period of your absence. Any changes to their diet can have negative effects on their health and wellbeing.
Cuddles & More has extensive experience administering various medications to many types of pets. We are fully qualified in Pet First Aid, as undertaken at Murdoch University.
We can offer up to 2 visits per day if required. This can be necessary for older dogs and puppies or dogs that are indoors most days.
Cuddles & More is a registered business, and all our operators are police cleared (with supporting documentation).
Dog walks are only ever undertaken with the dog/s from the same home. We never walk dogs from separate homes together.
We currently work within the Rockingham area (Thomas Rd to Singleton). Please get in touch with us if you live outside these areas, we might be able to arrange something for you.
Yes! Because FIFO and shift workers aren’t home at the usual times, we offer special pricing for our pet sitting services. Get in touch to find out more.
Cuddles & More services are available 365 days a year – Christmas and Easter book out quickly so hurry to secure a spot!
Cuddles & More only provides daily drop-in services so, unfortunately, we cannot offer overnight stays.
We can look after cats, dogs, fish, birds, rabbits, and guinea pigs.
We prefer not to but can look after spiders, snakes, scorpions, etc upon request.
We can’t look after livestock as they require special care.
Cuddles & More is a registered business with public liability insurance of $10million.
We are fully insured and police cleared (with supporting documentation).
Cuddles & More use the ‘Time To Pet’ app to ensure you are in regular contact with us and your pet throughout the day.
There are no additional fees for extra pets up until four pets. After the four pet limit is reached, we charge an additional fee. This fee is tailored to every pet minding service and depends on the type of pet and special needs it may require. Please contact us for further information.
